About Me
I grew up in the small town of New Washington, Ohio. I began to write poetry at a young age and became inspired to begin writing children's stories once I had children of my own.
I believe in writing stories that can educate, inspire, and offer a sense of hope to children. Although my books are geared more for children they all contain messages that will tug at the heartstrings of all who read them.
I currently live in Blacklick, Ohio, with my Wife Valerie, Daughter Bryanna, and sons Brock, and Brenner.
About "Running the Race"
I am very excited about this book for many reasons. Probably the biggest is that it was inspired by my Mom who is a breast cancer survior (You're invited to read my article listed with the links on this page to read more about her story).
Second, it has given me another opportunity to help children who are faced with a difficult situation in life. I was an adult when my Mother was stricken, it's hard to imagine what must be going through the mind of a young child facing a parent fighting breast cancer.
Third, Rain Publishing Inc. will be donating a dollar of every book sold toward breast cancer research. I am so thankful for their support, as their is no measure around for an act of human kindness.
Finally, through this story I can humbly play a minor role in both the fight, and someday soon the cure of breast cancer.
